The course will head through the beautiful YEG river valley trails, starting under the High Level Bridge and running through Hawrelak Park on wide, groomed trails, a fast and easy course for every ability to enjoy.

Kids Race: 2.15km
5km: Run & Walk
10km Run & Walk

Get the kids involved with an easy 2.15km race! Cost to enroll is just $15 and comes with a custom t-shirt, custom wood medal and custom hat! 

The 5km run & walk will start from the Huskey House parking lot at 4:20pm. Cost to enroll is just $35 and comes with custom shirt, custom wood medal and custom hat! 

The 10km run & walk will start from the Huskey House parking lot at 4:15pm. Cost to enroll is just $50 and comes with custom shirt, custom wood medal and custom hat!

Anita Cardinal - Stewart

Anita Cardinal-Stewart is Nêhiyaw (Cree) and a member of Woodland Cree First Nation.  Anita is also an ultra trail runner, a wife, mother and kokum - and on her way to becoming a lawyer at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law ('22) where she is Co-President of the Indigenous Law Student Association, and President, First Nations for the National Indigenous Law Students' Associations.

Adam Erasmus

Adam Erasmus is a local Edmonton traill running enthusiast who has merged his passion for trail running and his dedication to drug and alcohol recovery into Trail Worship - a running group with its origins in Recovery Running, which has grown to accept anyone of any background. 


With roots in the Goodfish Reserve, Adam has been connecting to his Indigenous culture as part of his path to recovery.  Adam is grateful to be working together to bring awareness to indigenous residential school harms and healing.
